Planning to camp at El Questro Wilderness Park? Here are some things you need to know to make your camping experience a successful one: Reception hours are between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. All tours can be booked during these hours. Speed is restricted to 10km/h (first gear) around campgrounds, The Station and Emma Gorge Resort. Passengers must ride inside the vehicle at all times. El Questro recycles its rubbish. Please separate your rubbish where possible and use the bins provided for glass, plastic, aluminium cans and general rubbish. Fires are not to be lit on the top section of Black Cockatoo camp grounds. All fires must be extinguished prior to leaving your camp site. Please collect your own firewood. Tree felling is not permitted, however chainsaws may be used on fallen timber Please be aware that the cattle on El Questro are wild animals and should not be approached at any time. Please store all food items and rubbish securely so as not toattract wild animals (cattle, horses, birds, etc.) to your camp. Dogs are allowed within the wilderness park but must be kept on a leash at all times. No pets permitted in any attractions. Camping is restricted to designated areas only. This does not include carparks or lookouts. Illegal camping will not be tolerated. Please respect your fellow camperswith no loud noise after 10 p.m. Outboard motors are not permitted in El Questro waterways. No mechanical repairs to be performed in campgrounds. Only licenced vehicles permitted on property roads and tracks. Generators to be used between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. only. Please ensure the safe storage of all valuables and possessions. El Questro is not responsible for the loss /theft of any valuables that are not correctly stored away. Please report any suspicious behaviour to a staff member immediately.
