We have two distinctly different ways to enjoy your El Questro camping experience – in our General Black Cockatoo Campground, or in the intimate private campsites set on the banks of the Pentecost River. Both of these campsites are located at The Station at El Questro – a 30 minute drive from Emma Gorge Resort.
Black Cockatoo General Campground
The Black Cockatoo general camping ground is central to all facilities including guest showers, bathrooms and laundry. This camping ground is located at The Station, about 30 minutes drive from Emma Gorge, where you will also find the General Store, Steakhouse Restaurant and Swinging Arm Bar where you can meet and mix with other outback adventurers travelling through Australia's North West.
Private Riverside Camping
Secluded from other campers, there are just 25 Private Riverside sites, named after their inhabitants, such as "Willy Wagtail", "Bustard" or "Sea Eagle". These private camping sites are situated further along the Pentecost River, yet close to the heart of the property. They are approximately a 10 minute drive from The Station's central facilities, which are available for use by all campers.
Bookings
Bookings are not taken in advance for camping groups under 10 persons.
As we enjoy vast spaces, vacancies are always available, however the Private Riverside sites are limited and subject to availability
