Take a scenic flight along the sheer cliffs of the Cockburn Range before landing on top with stunning views of the Pentecost River and El Questro Station. Enjoy a cheese plate and bubbles and take in the amazing view as the light fades on another perfect Kimberley day. Scenic Flights With flights departing regularly from the Station, carrying a minimum of two people, scenic flights over El Questro's highlights are offered for 20, 30 or 60 minutes or you may charter a helicopter for your tailor made adventure. Heli-Fishing Tours Cast a line into your choice of freshwater or saltwater destinations, rarely disturbed but for the occasional touring anglers. The pristine waters are an underwater home to Barramundi, Mangrove Jack, Bream and Threadfin Salmon. A minimum of two people is a requirement of this 5-hour tour; pricing is reduced with the addition of a third person. Amaroo Falls A truly magical place, Amaroo Falls was discovered in the southeast of the property in April 2010. Only accessible by helicopter, this majestic scene consists of 15 cascading waterfalls. The falls range from knee-high falls to those of 45m in height, descending into pristine swimming holes providing one of the most breathtaking views of El Questro. Lasting 2.5 hours, this is a must-see air tour also including a hike to some of the cascades. Miri Miri Scenic Tour Spend 2 hours in El Questro’s most secluded attraction – Miri Miri Falls (3 hours including flight time). Hidden in a truly remote corner of the Wilderness Park, this spectacular scene of spring-fed water cascading over a 50-metre fall from the plateau into a deep pool opens into a dense valley of Livistona Palms and Paperbarks. Don’t be shy, go for a swim in this private setting. The Lost City Tour Visit the ancient cave formations and unique terrain in this fully guided tour of the Lost City. This 1.5-hour tour is recommended for the fit and adventurous. Enjoy this fantastic scenic flight complete with morning tea. Airplane Tours Bungle Bungle Scenic Flight and Ground Tour Depart El Questro in our Cessna 210, taking in views of the Carboyd Range and Lake Argyle before landing at the Bungle Bungle Range for a 4WD tour of the spectacular Beehive Domes and a walk into Cathedral Gorge and Piccaninny Creek. Scenic Helicopter flights of the sandstone domes and Cathedral Gorge are available before you depart. Fly back over the Argyle Diamond Mine, the biggest producer of pink and coloured diamonds in the world! Bungle Bungle and Lake Argyle Scenic Flight Departing at 6am, 9am & 11.45am (other times available), a 2-hour aeroplane flight from El Questro takes you over Lake Argyle, the Argyle Diamond Mine, and the Carboyd Range before passing over Purnululu Park, home to the Bungle Bungles. Listed as one of Australia’s natural wonders, the Bungle Bungle sandstone formation dates back 350 million years and is a once-in-a-lifetime experience found only in the Kimberley. On the journey back to El Questro, pass over the Argyle Diamond Mine, the largest producer of pink and coloured diamonds in the world. King George Falls and Kimberley Coast Flight Depart El Questro tracking north over ancient Kimberley landscapes for the famous King George Falls where you will orbit for 10mins taking in the 80 meter double waterfalls. Continue on, taking in the exclusive Berkley River lodge and the unique Kimberley Coast keeping an eye out for dugongs, manta rays, sea turtles and whales. Pass over Cape Dussejour before heading south over the Cambridge Gulf, the historic town of Wyndham and the Cockburn Range before landing back at El Questro. (2 hours and 15 mins) Mitchell Falls and Kimberley Coast Flight Depart El Questro flying over ancient Kimberley landscapes. Orbit the spectacular Mitchell Falls before landing at the airstrip to stretch your legs. Head out over the coast of Western Australia, flying over Kimberley Coastal Camp, Kalumburu Aboriginal Mission, the famous double waterfalls of King George Falls & the mouth of the Berkley River. Then follow the gorge upstream towards the historic town of Wyndham and take in the view of the Cockburn Range before landing back at El Questro. Departure times as requested.
