With several weddings a year, our testimonials can show you what makes El Questro your perfect location. Carly and Sean fell in love with El Questro when they were travelling through, so when they got engaged they decided it was the perfect place to hold their wedding with their closest family and friends. All guests were staying at The Station. The bungalows, ... right on the Pentecost River, and you had a view on the balcony right out to the river trickling through and the bush beyond. The ceremony location had been kept as a secret from their guests; the only hint was to not wear heels for the ladies. El Questro provided some 4×4 vehicles to transport the guests up to Pigeon Hole Lookout, and wow what a lookout!! There were panoramic views everywhere, which then came in handy for Carly's dramatic arrival… in a helicopter! The colours in the Kimberley are so vivid, especially when it getting close to sun set, I could have stayed there for hours! We then flew back to The Station to collect the bridal party and my hubby/photographic assistant for a few more photos as the sun set over the boab trees. We had the best time at this wedding, besides my own it is my favourite wedding that I've had the privilege to attend. Thank you to Carly and Sean for booking us to cover your wedding, and also thank you to Dale and the team up at El Questro for creating such a great event. I didn't expect to fall in love with the place as much as I have, and we can't wait for the next time we can come back…and I really want to buy a Pajero so we can do more river crossings and 4WD tracks!!
