El Questro Camping

The Black Cockatoo Campground is equipped with architect-designed shower blocks and camp kitchens with BBQs and laundries. For an extra surcharge you can secure one of our 60 powered sites. The Campground is in the heart of El Questro Station and located close to the Cafe, Retail Shop, Cantina, Steakhouse Restaurant and the Swinging Arm Bar.

Please note, your El Questro Visitor Permit will be automatically added during the online booking process.

Please note, guests and campers are required to purchase a Visitor Permit. These are $26 per adult and $13 per child aged 3-16 years. Visitor permits are valid for 7 days or day passes can be purchased for $12 per adult and $8 per child. Children aged 2 and below are complimentary.

Black Cockatoo General Campground

The Black Cockatoo General Campground is central to all facilities and there are powered and unpowered sites available. You will find plenty of hot showers, camp kitchens with BBQs and laundry facilities. This camping ground is located right at The Station, where you will also find the Retail Store, Steakhouse Restaurant and Swinging Arm Bar.

Private Riverside Camping

Enjoy the natural peace of one of the 30 private riverside sites situated further along the Pentecost River, yet close to the heart of the property. They are approximately 10 minutes' drive from The Station's central facilities, which are available for use by all campers. The size of sites, shade and access to eco toilets vary. Please note that the private sites are not suitable for swimming or for caravans, as they don't have a large enough turning area, and many of the driveways are 4WD.
