Bungle Bungle Scenic Flight and Ground Tour

The beehive shaped domes of the Bungle Bungle Range have been in existence for over 350 million years and part of Aboriginal history for 40,000, this tour gives you the chance to experience them for yourself. You’ll fly over the Carboyd Range and Lake Argyle before landing at Purnululu National Park, home to the Bungle Bungle Range. Here you’ll transfer to a comfortable 4WD for a tour of the spectacular Beehive Domes and a walk into Cathedral Gorge and Piccaninny Creek. The flight back takes you over the Argyle Diamond Mine, which is the biggest producer of pink and coloured diamonds in the world.

Bungle Bungle and Lake Argyle Scenic Flight

A two hour flight from El Questro takes you over Lake Argyle and the Carboyd Range before passing over Purnululu National Park, home to the Bungle Bungle Range. Listed as one of Australia’s natural wonders, the Bungle Bungle sandstone formation dates back 350 million years and is a once-in-a-lifetime experience found only in the Kimberley. On the way home you’ll fly over the Argyle Diamond Mines. Combine the flight with a ground tour, which incorporates a walk into Cathedral Gorge and Piccaninny Creek with a tour of the spectacular beehive domes. They run every Tuesday from May to September.

King George Falls

King George Falls and Kimberley Coast Flight

Depart El Questro travelling north over ancient Kimberley landscapes to the famous King George Falls where you’ll take in 80 metre double waterfalls, while orbiting overhead. Fly along the unique Kimberley coast to the exclusive Berkeley River Lodge all the while keeping an eye out for dugongs, manta rays, sea turtles and whales. Pass over Cape Dueesjour before heading south over the Cambridge Gulf, the historic town of Wyndham and the Cockburn Range before heading home.

Mitchell Falls from the air

Mitchell Falls and Kimberley Coast Flight 

Depart El Questro flying over ancient Kimberley landscapes and the vast cattle Stations of the Gibb River Road. Orbit the spectacular 3 tier Mitchell Falls before landing at the airstrip to stretch your legs. Fly along the Timor Sea coastline, over The Kimberley Coastal Camp, Kalumburu Aboriginal Mission, the famous double waterfalls of King George Falls and the mouth of the Berkeley River. Then follow the gorge upstream towards the historic town of Wyndham and take in the view of the Cockburn Range before landing back at El Questro.
